As promised, here is the 2nd installment of Trash The Dress - Spring 2009!

The stunning woman in these photos is Blythe McKinlay. Blythe decided to wear this great, deep brown cocktail dress for the photo shoot. Again, a great alternative to a wedding gown. We also incorporated a teal scarf in a handful of the photos that I think, really highlights her dramatic makeup.
Although I took many photos of Blythe that turned out beautifully, I LOVE this photo.
I love the lighting, the texture of the rocks and water and the angle.
I love how peaceful and confident Blythe looks. I love her bare feet and how we positioned her body.
I love this photo.
Below are a few more of my favourite shots of Blythe.

I started photographing Blythe at about 7pm. The sun was no longer in view at this time and although at first I was disappointed that I wouldn't be able to utilize the sun for creative effect or general lighting, in the end I was still very happy with the soft lighting of the evening. I couldn't be more pleased with the way we showcased Blythe within this environment.
I adore this location. I love the massive, uneven rocks and the crooked trees. It is perfect imperfection!!
Photographing Trash The Dress is one of the most rewarding, creative experiences that I have had the pleasure and opportunity to organize and photograph. I have already begun planning our next TTD Event which will be held in late September 2009. If you would like any further information regarding pricing (which may I add, will be extremely well priced), dates, location or availability, please contact me at:

Space is limited so please contact me soon to book your spot!
I want to say thank you again to Carrie Tibbs and Blythe McKinlay for being so relaxed, fun and beautiful for this photo shoot. It was an excellent day and I can't wait until September!
