On April 19, 2009, Beyond The Window held it's 2nd Annual Trash The Dress Event!  It was another success!  Our session was held in Elora, Ontario.  We were surrounded by a breathtaking, natural environment which included part of The Grand River.  The weather was warm and sunny and of course the "models" looked phenomenal. 

This time around we decided to keep the session really personal.  The models included, Blythe McKinlay, Carrie Tibbs and me!  Blythe of course, is Beyond The Window's 2nd photographer and Carrie is the owner and makeup artist for Beauty Marked.  I also took part since I suspected I wouldn't fit into my wedding dress forever - it has already been 7 years since I was married.  I also really wanted to be on the other side of the camera for a creative photo session.  Blythe took the photos of me and more photos of Carrie as well.  She will be sharing her photos on the blog a bit later so stay tuned.

Carrie Tibbs ......

...... is a fantastic makeup artist and a joy to work with. Carrie, of course, was the makeup artist for our first TTD and shared her amazing skill with Blythe and I again for this event. It was a pleasure photographing her. She wore a bridesmaids dress for the session which was a great idea. I highly encourage others to wear an old bridesmaids dress for TTD if they are at all nervous about wearing their wedding gown. Carrie has remarkable eyes!  Here are a few of my favourite photos from Carrie's photo shoot.
